ProvPort
ProvPort is governed by a seven-member volunteer Board of Directors who are experts in maritime shipping, port operations or related business activities. Board members are nominated by or represent various bodies as outlined in the ProvPort By-Laws.
Secretary of Corporation / General Counsel
Chairperson
Served since its inception in 1994, elected as Board Chairman in 2013. Mr. Moura is a former State Representative and Senator and current member of the International Longshoreman’s Union (ILA) Local 2001. Mr. Moura is the designated City Council nominee.
Vice Chairperson / Treasurer
Served since 2005. Former General Manager for Univar, USA. Mr. McGonagle is one of two designated representatives of ProvPort tenants.
Board Member
Served since 2013. Owner of the Flagship Staffing Services and long-standing advocate for the RI Business Community. Ms. Fabrizio is one of two at-large Board members.
Board Member
Served since 2008. He is the former President of ILA Local 1329. Mr. Lopes is the designated Mayoral nominee.
Board Member
Served since 2025. Former CEO and current Board Director of J.F. Moran, now OIA Global. Ms. Robson is one of two designated representatives of ProvPort tenants.
LT. Governor
Served since 2022. Current LT. Governor of RI and former Providence City Council President. Lt. Governor Matos is one of two at-large Board members.
Chief of Staff, Commerce RI
Served since 2022. Chief of Staff of RI Commerce. Board member designated by RI Commerce Secretary.
